Bill Mead is AM1390 WLAN's News Director. He worked in several radio markets throughout the Northeast before coming to PA. Bill's a big Boston Red Sox fan, which explains the perpetual smile on his face these days...When Bill's not gathering news from around Lancaster county and central Pennsylvania, he likes to hike the Appalachian Trail and check out the local micro-beer and wine-making scene.
Bob Hauer - Newsroom
Bob is homegrown without a doubt! Born and raised in the countryside just outside of Shamokin, Bob has spent his entire life right here in Central PA, graduating from Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School in 1998 and Susquehanna University in 2002. Although at a young age (granted he's older than he looks), Bob has an experienced background in broadcasting, working as a Top-40 DJ and a television production crew memeber before joining the 1390 WLAN News Team in late December of 2004. Armed with a sense of humor and a "lucky to be here" attitude, Bob adds to an already tremendously successful news team with his background in our communities, our sports, and our lifestyles. You can also catch Bob on our sister station, 1460 the Ticket (hyperlink to www.1460theTicket.com ), as one of our voices of high school football, following the Cumberland Valley Eagles and Bishop McDevitt Crusaders. Bob and his wife welcomed their first child, Brodey, on May 18th, 2006, joining their other pride and joy, a 75-pound boxer named Huck.

Laurie then headed to Dallas as News Director and co-anchor of the morning show on KHYI-FM. After playing Top-40 music for two years, she headed to KODZ-FM to play Oldies while co-hosting morning drive. Laurie joined Citadel Media as the evening host of Hot AC then moved on to Oldies Radio compiling music logs and air shifts. Laurie returned to morning programming and became the morning show co-host and news director of KRRW-FM among other radio stints.

He's handled almost all on-air time slots from Sunday mornings to Afternoons. In 1990 Scott moved onto the national scene as Music Director and Afternoon talent for Citadel Media's AC StarStation format. He now handles music and Afternoon Drive for Stardust - Timeless. Scott is single and enjoys movies, baseball and his cats Maggie and Milo.
Linda - Weekday Evenings/Fill-Ins Linda is happily married to her artist husband, Bob. They have grown (finally!) twins. In her spare time, she likes to experiment in the kitchen, take road trips with girlfriends and as her husband, Bob likes to say..."spends way to much time and money on books at Amazon.com."
Dave McNamee - Weekday Overnights
Dave pretty much figured music would be his calling. Not so much playing drums in a rock band, but teaching Percussion at the University level. Both his parents were teachers so it seemed like a good fit.
Until a high school speech class spun his head - and his life - in a different direction. It wasn't long before he realized talking for a living beat working for a living. Getting his first job in radio helped him graduate from the University of Houston. Then he made stops in Dallas-Fort Worth, and New York, before starting a family and playing Timeless Favorites.
Dave still has his drums and has been known to annoy his neighbors, wife Susan, and daughter Shelly (the youngest of three girls still at home), with the occasional "if it's too loud you're too old" solo.
Frank Welch - Saturday and Sunday Mornings It’s not often that a career in cross-country trucking leads to a career in radio – but that’s how it happened to Frank Welch. “It’s true,” he says. “I was listening to a lot of radio stations while driving around the country. My though was, ‘I could do better than that!’ so I jumped into it.” Today, Frank’s definition of “drive time” has changed. The road to his current Stardust stint wound its way through a variety of radio stations including Dallas stations KCDU-FM, KLUB-FM and KVIL-FM. “I’ve done basically every on-air job you can do: jock, studio news reporter, street reporter, traffic reporter, sports reporter and more.” These experiences have brought Frank news honors, including the Dallas Press Club’s Katie Award and the Dallas U.P.I. Award. Frank believes he has an impact on his listeners because he genuinely enjoys his job. “I have a lot of fun on the air and I really believe that if you’re having fun at something, people respond positively to you.”

Angie Michaels - Weekend Middays
Angie Michaels has a definite ability to chat. That, along with her sense of humor and extensive knowledge of music blends well to make her a top notch evening announcer. Angie has been in the radio business for over 10 years in Detroit and Dallas. She got her start in AM radio in Anchorage, Alaska.
Debbie Douglas - Weekend Evenings
Music Lover Debbie Douglas began her radio career in 1980 at a small radio station in South Texas, "I thought I was gonna be the next Barbara Walters", but soon found that news was not my passion...it was and still is music! I left there after just a year and began a long radio career in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas. I worked for the 100,000 watt blowtorch of South Texas, 99.5 KISS. I worked my way from overnights to Music Director and mid-days where I had a wonderful ride for 12 years! I also worked for KZ-100 (A/C) and KZEP (Classic Rock).
In the D/FW market I've worked at the classic rocker 92.5 KZPS (evening personality), KOAI (Smooth Jazz format), KKDL (dance format) and currently for Citadel Media where I enjoy working with various formats, including “Timeless” and one that airs in Guatemala! So, as you can see, my music tastes are well rounded. I'm also a voice over talent and you may have even heard my voice while waiting "on hold" somewhere!
I like to travel and highly recommend Aspen, Co, Santa Fe, New Mexico, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Also on the "fun list" is checking out movies, mixing my own CD's, enjoying a new wine or dark beer, fine dining, hanging out with friends, estate sales, softball, pedicures and massages! And of course spending time with my dog, Abita! Favorite non-profit organizations include the SPCA, Operation Kindness, Susan G. Komen & Public television.

He followed that with tours at several legendary radio stations including WCFL-AM in Chicago, WAPE-AM in Jacksonville and KAUM-FM in Houston. Mike’s hobbies are photography, travel, and roller coasters.
Bob Evans - Fill-Ins Bob’s broadcasting career has taken him all over the planet from Japan to Mexico to England to China. His love for all kinds of music has led to gigs in country radio, classic rock, pop, and even classical. He may be the only Timeless Favorites DJ to have played percussion with a major symphony orchestra. The proud (and exhausted) father of two, husband of one, and pet owner of way too many, Bob is delighted to be part of the Timeless Favorites Family!
